One of the founder members of the Samaj, Mr S B Kurup (aka SBK) is enjoying his retired life after a long span of 40 years of service in private companies. However, he is conspicuous by his active presence - be it related to the activities of Samaj, Temple or other spiritual activities. He undertakes occasional pilgrimages to various religious places.

SBK is also the In-charge of the matrimonial cell of Nerul NSS. It will be very hard to find a Nair in Nerul whom SBK does not know. Whether you know him or not, he knows you!

He has a son and daughter. Both are married and settled in Nerul. His wife (retired from Goverment service) and son & family stay with him in sector 23, Nerul. His roots are in Paravoor, Kerala.

One of the founder members of the Samaj, Mr MRK Nair (popularly known as MRK) is working with BARC. A great organizer and a self starter, MRK annan can play wonders in networking with people. Modesty being his hallmark, he easily wins over his opponents.

A chatty, MRK annan enjoys giving nostalgic account of his childhood to others, but on one condition, he needs rapt attention of the audience…

Born at Thiruvalla and bought up at Nilambur (both in Kerala), MRK Nair stays at sector 23 with his wife and two daughters who are students.

One of the founder members of the Samaj, Mr Babu Nair (BRN) is a lawyer by profession and an IT entrepreneur by choice. Software development is his passion. Stock trading is his hobby (purchasing stocks at high prices and selling at lower levels!)

BRN spent his childhood years at Erumely, Kerala. His family comprises his wife (teacher) and son (student).

One of the founder members of the Samaj, Mr P Balakrishna Kurup, after taking retirement from his career with defence, was working with VSNL but later took VRS from it to become a full time stock investor-cum-trader.

A widely travelled person, Kurup Chettan has a lot of experience with various cultures in India and abroad, a necessary ingredient needed for working with social organizations. Affectionately called “PB” (please don’t expand it to Post Box or Politburo), PB Kurup is a very dynamic person and can execute tasks at lightning speed. Sincere and honest, PB is very particular about maintaining good relations with others, the reason why he writes success stories wherever he goes.

He spent his formative years at Cherthala, Alappuzha, Kerala. He is now settled in sector 20 with his family. His son is an IT professional and daughter a student. The Kurup couple is now more attached to spirituality - hopping from temple to temple or Saptaham to Narayaneeyam.

One of the founder members of the Samaj, Mr M G Muraleedharan Nair is a businessman. His firm, Empee Associates, deals in fire and safety equipments.

MGM Nair has all the make-ups of an ideal Karayogam Bharavahi. Very sincere and articulate, his commitment for a cause is second to none. Where MGM puts his weight behind any activity or initiative of the Samaj, the success is a foregone conclusion. Occasionally, Murali Mash steps into the shoes of a trainer and teaches the students in the Malayalam class, which is his brainchild.

Coming from Thiruvalla, Kerala, MGM Nair lives in sector 19, Nerul. His wife is employed with government of Kerala and son is studying in Kerala.

One of the founder members of the Samaj, Rameshan Pillai is an articulate and a man of many facets. Even in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, he finds time to fully involve into the activities of the Samaj. Come any activity, he is fully charged and on the top gear. Working in a private firm in Mumbai, he has a large network of friends and associates in Mumbai.

Rameshan Chettai was born and brought up at North Paravur, Ernakulam, Kerala.

One of the founder members of the Samaj, Mr Sukumaran Menon is working with Customs Dept of Government of India. A smiling face is his hallmark and that is how he gets along with others in this fast paced world. He enjoys to be part of all activities of the Samaj.

Sukumarettan has worked with various cultural organizations (such as Bombay Keraleeya Samajam and Antop Hill Ayyappa Mission) in the past. Currently, he is a member of Nilgiri Ayyappa Puja Samiti.

He hails from Tripunithura, Ernakulam, Kerala, and stays with his wife and two sons, who are employed, at Nilgiri Gardens.
