Mr Madhusudhanan K Nair (Managing Director, Saranya Developers Pvt Ltd) is a reputed builder in Navi Mumbai. A multifaceted talent, Appu (as he is popularly known) is always at the forefront of the activities of Nerul NSS. One gets a feeling that he breaths Nerul NSS!

He is also a member of Nerul Sri Ayyappa Seva Samiti and Vashi Keraleeya Samajam.

Hailing from Vayalar in Alappuzha district of Kerala state, Madhu stays at sector 17, Nerul. His family consists of his wife and two sons who are students.

Dr Venugopalan, IRS retired, was a Member of Central Board of Excise and Customs. Prior to it, he was Additional Collector of Customs, Cochin. He retired after rendering 36 years of service with the department. During his tenure in the department, he worked in various capacities (such as Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, etc) all over India.

A doctorate holder in Management Studies, he is a recipient of President’s award for distinguished record of service in 1997. Currently, he is Service Tax Consultant.

He was born at Mamangalam, Edappilly, Ernakulam, Kerala. Dr Venugopalan stays with his wife, who is an Interior Designer, and son & daughter at NRI Complex.

Hailing from Trissur, Kerala, Sreedharettan owns a spotless character. After retiring from the central government as an Income Tax Officer, he is devoted to full-time social work. A down to earth honest and sincere, Sreedarettan leads the group from the frontline. Once he takes up a task, rest assured, he takes the ownership of the task and goes into the minute details to make sure the task is successfully executed.

In the past, he was a committee member of many a Malayee organizations. Ghatkoper Sri Ayyappa Seva Sangham, Antop Hill Ayyappa Mission, Bhandup Malayali Samajam, Matunga Bombay Keraleeya Samajam, Bhandup Education Society, Antop Hill Central Govt Employees Welfare Association are a few to list.

He lives with his wife and two sons (who are employed) at Sector 21, Nerul.

Rameshan Pillai is an articulate and a man of many facets. Even in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, he finds time to fully involve into the activities of the Samaj. Come any activity, he is fully charged and on the top gear. Working in a private firm in Mumbai, he has a large network of friends and associates in Mumbai.

Rameshan Chettai was born and brought up at North Paravur, Ernakulam, Kerala.

Mr Shivasankaran C Pillai is working with a private firm in Mumbai. He is good at organizing events such as cultural programmes and blood donation camps.

He is also a member of Sri Dharmasastha Seva Parishad and Arunodaya Foundations.

Shiva likes music; listening to nadaswara melam is his favourite pastime. Originally from Mavelikkara, Kerala, Shiva stays with his wife at sector 50E, Nerul.

Mr MRK Nair (popularly known as MRK) is working with BARC. A great organizer and a self starter, MRK annan can play wonders in networking with people. Modesty being his hallmark, he easily wins over his opponents.

Nair Samaj is always close to his heart and is ready to walk an extra mile when it comes to any sacrifice for the wellbeing of its members. Where MRK is there, success is sure to come!

Born at Thiruvalla and bought up at Nilambur (both in Kerala), MRK Nair stays at sector 23 with his wife and two daughters who are students. A chatty, MRK annan enjoys giving nostalgic account of his childhood to others, but on one condition, he needs rapt attention of the audience…

Mr Sukumaran Menon is working with Customs Dept of Government of India. A smiling face is his hallmark and that is how he gets along with others in this fast paced world. He enjoys to be part of all activities of the Samaj.

Sukumarettan has worked with various cultural organizations (such as Bombay Keraleeya Samajam and Antop Hill Ayyappa Mission) in the past. Currently, he is a member of Nilgiri Ayyappa Puja Samiti.

He hails from Tripunithura, Ernakulam, Kerala, and stays with his wife and two sons, who are employed, at Nilgiri Gardens.

Mr P Balakrishna Kurup, after taking retirement from his career with defence, was working with VSNL but later took VRS from it to become a full time stock investor-cum-trader.

A widely travelled person, Kurup Chettan has a lot of experience with various cultures in India and abroad, a necessary ingredient needed for working with social organizations. Affectionately called “PB” (please don’t expand it to Post Box or Politburo), PB Kurup is a very dynamic person and can execute tasks at lightning speed. Sincere and honest, PB is very particular about maintaining good relations with others, the reason why he writes success stories wherever he goes.

He spent his formative years at Cherthala, Alappuzha, Kerala. He is now settled in sector 20 with his family. His son is an IT professional and daughter a student. The Kurup couple is now more attached to spirituality - hopping from temple to temple or Saptaham to Narayaneeyam.

Mr Raveendran R Pillai is working with MTNL. He was born and brought up at Avaneeswaram, Kollam, Kerala. A veteran of many a successful events, he takes cudgel in his own hands and acts when and where he is required.

He is associated with Nerul Sri Ayyappa Seva Samiti too.

R R Pillai, as he is popularly known, stays at sector 9 with his wife and college-going son & daughter.

Mr Harikrishnan Nair is a practising Chartered Accountant. He is a partner at Joshi Nair & Co, Chartered Accountants.

Hari is associated with Mata Amrutanadamayi Math too.

Originally, he is from Chelakkara, Thrissur, Kerala.

Mr S B Kurup (aka SBK) is enjoying his retired life after a long span of 40 years of service in private companies. However, he is conspicuous by his active presence - be it related to the activities of Samaj, Temple or other spiritual activities. He undertakes occasional pilgrimages to various religious places.

SBK is In-charge of the matrimonial cell of Nerul NSS. It will be very hard to find a Nair in Nerul whom SBK does not know. Whether you know him or not, he knows you!

He has a son and daughter. Both are married and settled in Nerul. His wife (retired from Goverment service) and son & family stay with him in sector 23, Nerul. His roots are in Paravoor, Kerala.

Mrs Jaya S Pillai is a multitalented member. She is a very good organizer and stage anchor. She works for the Samaj with a missionary zeal.

An ardent devotee of Lord Krishna, she teaches The Holy Geeta, The Bhagavatham, The Narayaneeyam, etc to regular audience.

She hails from Hariapad, Kerala, and stays with her husband at sector 50 E.

Mr M G Muraleedharan Nair is a businessman. His firm, Empee Associates, deals in fire and safety equipments.

MGM Nair has all the make-ups of an ideal Karayogam Bharavahi. Very sincere and articulate, his commitment for a cause is second to none. Where MGM puts his weight behind any activity or initiative of the Samaj, the success is a foregone conclusion. Occasionally, Murali Mash steps into the shoes of a trainer and teaches the students in the Malayalam class, which is his brainchild.

Coming from Thiruvalla, Kerala, MGM Nair lives in sector 19, Nerul. His wife is employed with government of Kerala and son is studying in Kerala.

Mrs Ponnamma Nair is working with a private organization in Navi Mumbai.

Enthusiastic and sincere, she is eager to work for the organization within the limited spare time available with her.

Coming from Thiruvalla, Kerala, Ponnamma Nair lives in sector 42, Nerul. Her husband, Muraleedharan Nair, is an NRI. They have a daughter and a son who are students.

Mr Baburaj R Nair (BRN) is a lawyer by profession and an IT entrepreneur by choice. Software development is his passion. Stock trading is his hobby (purchasing stocks at high prices and selling at lower levels!)

BRN spent his childhood years at Erumely, Kerala. His family comprises his wife (teacher) and son (student).
